Summary: It is not just what you do “But How You Do It” the therapeutic use of self. This presentation will highlight the importance of understanding the “individual profile” of the child and the caregiver to support arousal regulation. Emphasis will be on putting the “relationship” in the forefront and “tailoring interactions” to support sensory and emotional regulation moment to moment. Video examples to support arousal regulation in the flow of interactions will be presented throughout this presentation.
