Presenter:
Marjorie A. Garvey attended medical school at Trinity College, Dublin. She completed her Child Neurology Fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, DC. She has carried out research on pediatric movement disorders in the Intramural Research Program at the National Institutes of Health and at the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Washington, DC.
Presently,
she serves as a Program Officer in the Division of Translational
Research, NIMH, where she manages and promotes translational
neuroscience research on novel and/or established behavioral, cognitive,
and non-pharmacological neuroscience-based interventions. She has been a
member of the NIMH Research Domain Criteria Working Group since its
inception in 2009.
