What does school readiness really mean? We often think about school readiness as academically ready, but we see it is more of a foundational process. Children are amazingly bright and smart, but they sometimes can't access those abilities if they don't have the foundational pieces to be ready to be in a classroom setting. Successful school readiness is developmental and it's the presence of those foundational skills. We want to help children succeed by being ready socially, physically and intellectually to be part of a classroom.
